Love and Finances Survey
A new survey by LendingTree reveals that 26% of people would marry for money in the current economy. Other findings:
– 28% of people have stayed in a relationship longer than they wanted due to financial reasons
– 49% of people feel their partners’ finances are more important due to the economic climate
– 90% of people say financial security is at least somewhat important in a romantic relationship, while 60% say it’s very important
-29% of people prefer a partner earn more than they do
-27% of people say someone having a lot of money makes them more attractive
