On Sunday night (8-6), Metallica performed “Too Far Gone?” in concert for the time ever at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Footage of the second show of the North American leg of Metallica’s M72 World Tour was posted by a fan online.
The trek, which launched in late April, has the band playing two nights in every city they visit. The band claims “No Repeat Weekend,” featuring two completely different setlists and opening acts.
The M72 World Tour features an in-the-round stage design that relocates the famed Snake Pit to center stage.
Metallica’s two-night stand at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas later this month will be livestreamed to movie theaters across the globe.
